Course Overview

This course will help you to build an entrepreneurial spirit by taking through the processes of creating a fashion brand from concept to success. You will have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in a full range of business areas that are needed to start, develop, grow and market a brand.

Fashion Marketing and Entrepreneurship represents the "behind the scenes", the business side of fashion, the commercial aspect of a brand that determines its success, along with its creativity. The Course develops the relationship between the creative and business aspects within a fashion brand.

Participants in the short programme for Fashion Marketing and Entrepreneurship will be able to opt for an independent path by becoming entrepreneurs or choose a career in one of the several departments that make a fashion brand, from buying & merchandising, through the marketing, PR & communication department, without forgetting visual merchandising and logistics. The short programme will shed an introductory light on the essential elements that go into fashion marketing and facilitate participants in identifying which specific area they would like to explore in greater detail, either through a full-time study programme in Fashion Marketing or through an internship in a fashion house or retail business. The Course has a focus on business models and the current status of the global fashion and design industry.

The Short Course in Fashion Marketing and Entrepreneurship is designed to introduce key concepts and provide knowledge of how marketing strategies and management skills are incorporated with technology to gain an understanding of the various segments of the fashion and design industry. The participants will also explore how creative entrepreneurship and effective marketing can respond to and grow in a fast-paced industry that is driven by change.

On successful completion of this course, the career paths open to you will include:

Setting up your brand in anything related to fashion. Helping brands manage and market themselves successfully (from inventory management to marketing, handling all operations, etc) Being a consultant to multiple brands and helping them to streamline operations, manage their costs efficiently, and study their consumer data regularly to plan their growth.

Certification
Upon the successful completion of this course, you will receive a certificate of completion from LST. LST is accredited by the British Accreditation Council.

The London School of Trends offers two packages for each of the courses taught:

One-Month Residential Course for £3500
This includes:
1) Tuition Fees
2) Round-trip airfare (from Delhi/Mumbai to London Heathrow)
3) Accommodation (including lunch, dinner and breakfast)
4) Transportation within London for all course-related activities(museum/exhibition visits, social events, shoot, etc.)
* An airfare surcharge might be applicable for certain countries
One-Month Non-Residential Course for £2000
This includes:
1) Tuition Fees
2) Round-trip airfare (from Delhi/Mumbai to London Heathrow)
3) Transportation within London for all course-related activities (museum / exhibition visits, social events, shoot, etc.
Please note: Under this package, accommodation & meals are NOT provided for.
*An airfare surcharge might be applicable for certain countries*
Payment Terms
1) The course fee must be paid in full before the start date of the course.
2) The London School of Trends encourages all participants to pay the fees in advance to secure their place.
3) The London School of Trends accepts payments through credit/debit cards, payment gateways (including PayPal), and bank transfers.

Withdrawal from course
Residential/Non Residential Short Course:
If you decide to withdraw from the course before the start date, a refund (deducting any charges that might have been applied by a thirdparty) will be processed for you.
*International Students: If your visa has been refused, a full refund (deducting a £250 administrative fees) will be processed for you.

 

Note:
-We will be unable to process any refunds once the course has started, or if the visa has been issued and you decide to withdraw.

Entry Requirements

The London School of Trends looks forward to training students who have a keen interest in the creative field of fashion marketing andentrepreneurship. We give utmost importance to the passion of the student and their dedication towards learning the course.

All of our courses are taught in English, and the applicant must have a good command over the language.

 

Course Application

You will be required to complete the filling of the application form for the London School of Trends provided below. The applicant must be of at least 18 years of age at the start of the course.

 

International Students

All our courses are taught in English so a good command over English is essential. (If the applicant is not proficient in English, it is recommended that they obtain an IELTS score of 6+ at the minimum. You can visit the website: ielts.org for more information about this test).
